CWO is able to produce a variety of stone sculptures of both traditional and modern design. We have produced some highly detailed carved stonework as well as detailed carving of grotesque figures, animals and gargoyles decorating heritage properties and churches. Advice on the feasibility of working the stone sculptures can be given together with the choice of stone.
Stone sculptures, fountains and ornaments provide emphasis and accent in a garden, drawing the eye in a particular direction and contribute to the magnificence of a garden or other hard landscaping project whether large or small.
Memorial Stonemasons
CWO is a specialist memorial stonemason that can advise, design, supply and install natural stone memorials with hand carved lettering, carvings and motifs to specific requirements.
We have also completed very well known stone memorials and stone monuments in London. Masons carried out the contracts for both the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, Hyde Park London, as well as the Memorial Gates at Constitution Hill, London, which is a Portland stone memorial consisting of four 8m stone piers and a Portland stone pavilion to commemorate the Commonwealth Victoria and George Cross holders. All stone for the memorial was cut and produced in CWO’s Chichester workshops.
